Ms Tanya Moutray is a consultant ophthalmologist with over 20 years experience working within Ophthalmology at the Belfast Trust. She is a Queens University graduate, fellowship trained in Uveitis and Medical Retina and also completed a Cochrane Ireland research fellowship. She was awarded a Diploma in Medical Education, is an Honorary Lecturer with Queens University and has published widely. As a compassionate doctor she has sat on a number of committees both locally and nationally to advocate for visually impaired service users.
Miss Moutray has extensive experience treating retinal conditions including Age related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Diabetic Eye diseases, Retinal Vein Occlusion, and Central Serous Retinopathy. She uses the most up-to-date drug therapies and laser treatments. She also performs “lump and bumps” lid procedures including Chalazion removal
