Mr Young has been a Consultant Urological Surgeon since 1998, with his NHS practice based in Craigavon Area Hospital.
He has been the Lead Clinician for Urology in the Southern Health and Social care Trust for the past 20 years.
He has been a Programme Director for the Urology Specialist Registrar Training and been on the committee of the Ulster Urogynaecology Society. He hosted the annual meeting of the British Association of Urological Surgeon Endourology Section in 2003.
His interests include general adult urology with sub-speciality interest in stone management, andrology and female urology.
